We’re targeting to study provenance in digital notebooks, i.e. iPython. IPython notebook is an a web-based interactive computational environmentย for Python programming.
One of our group members along with other collaborators has created a tool called “NoWorkflow”, which intends to capture script provenance of a Python script.
During the joint sectionย of ProvWG and EVA WG in the AHM, we have discussed the possible collaboration between the two WGs. One of the outcomes is that EVA WG will provide some use cases for studying provenance. I’ve received a script in Matlab provided by the EVA WG and we will have tel-call next week to discuss more about the collabration.
