This week we successfully set up an ontology search demo based on our constructed knowledge base which includes earth science & annotator ontologies:

In order to improve the performance, further pre-processing (remove special characters, colons, other marks) on all data is needed and I’m working on a web-based interface instead of address line query.
I also started the design of ontology recommendation. Since it needs to use a user’s history data, I will collaborate with Katie on this part. Coordination and group discussions are what we will be focusing on early next week. We also scheduled a talk with Ben at Dataone to decide which solution will be employed for user management and we gonna integrate the Dataone datasets into our annotator and knowledge base.
