{"id":2680,"date":"2015-07-24T18:48:13","date_gmt":"2015-07-24T18:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/?p=2680"},"modified":"2019-05-24T18:05:29","modified_gmt":"2019-05-24T18:05:29","slug":"week-9-last-day-of-the-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/workflow-view\/week-9-last-day-of-the-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 9: Last day of the internship! :("},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is my last day and I just finished a final presentation with a few members of the team as well as some people that were generally interested to hear what I have accomplished by the end of the term.<\/p>\n<p>For this week, I added clicking functionality to the GUI that would allow the user to select\/click on any URI Labels (if they are toggled in the graph options) and this would either open a directory if the URI label corresponds to a selection of files or would open the file using the systems default program for those types of files. To accomplish this I had to implement a line by line editing system to edit specific objects within svg files that were generated and created from graphviz.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/7-24-15_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2681\" src=\"https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/7-24-15_1-300x174.png\" alt=\"7-24-15_1\" width=\"300\" height=\"174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/7-24-15_1-300x174.png 300w, https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/7-24-15_1-1024x594.png 1024w, https:\/\/notebooks.dataone.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/7-24-15_1.png 1863w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the final presentation it was very nice and encouraging to hear some positive feedback about the work I have done this summer. I have learned so much and had a great time working with the Yes Workflow Team. Whenever I needed help or was stuck on something they provided just enough help to still give me room to learn and solve the problem which is a very significant trait for this team.
